The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India is an independent impartial body actively promoting two-way flow of trade, investment between India and members of the EU. The Council’s role is to act as a facilitator between EU Indian Businesses and to provide qualitatively superior service to its members enabling their businesses to flourish .And in turn to strengthen EU Indian economic relations.

It is my honour to serve as the President of the Council, and further enhancing the focused efforts of the Chambers towards playing a catalytic role in enhancing India-EU Business agenda and commercial relations. I truly believe that both India and the European Union are seen as forces of global stability. The two regions share a close relationship based on mutual respect and shared values. There is significant scope for India-EU trade relations, as India ranks 14th amongst EU’s overseas trading partner for exports and 13th for imports. We at the Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India, firmly believe that this is a beginning to a powerful, strong, stable trade relationship.

It gives me immense pleasure in introducing the new website of The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India. We have made efforts to revamp our website and make it convenient for the business community in both India and the EU to access relevant India-EU related information. We have also introduced links to other websites where important India-EU related subjects are covered in greater depth. Furthermore, through our website, we hope to open a new window in cyberspace for our visitors where they can access our newsletter which provides latest India-EU trade related information, and also our event updates.

In my recently assumed capacity as the President of the Council, I would like to further enhance the focused efforts of the Chambers significantly towards playing a catalytic role in enhancing India-EU Business agenda and commercial relations. It is my privilege to invite you to be a Member of the Council, and seek your cooperation in playing a strategic role in furthering the India-EU commercial relations. Our Board Members are committed to fulfilling your expectations through the emphasis and empowerment of the Chamber’s vision and mission.
