The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India (EU Chambers) is the apex organization dedicated to strengthening EU–India economic engagement. Established in 1992 under the patronage of the Delegation of the European Union to India following India's economic liberalization in 1991. The Chamber today operates as an independent organisation committed to advancing bilateral business, investment, innovation, and cultural cooperation.
Representing the collective interests of the 27 Member States of the European Union in India, EU Chambers serves as a trusted institutional platform that brings together businesses, government bodies, industry associations, entrepreneurs, and academia to foster meaningful partnerships and sustainable economic growth.
For over three decades, the Chamber has played a pivotal role in promoting bilateral trade, facilitating strategic collaborations, encouraging technology and knowledge exchange, and creating opportunities for businesses across both regions. Today, with a dynamic network of more than 1,100 European and Indian member companies spanning diverse sectors, EU Chambers continues to strengthen the EU-India partnership by enabling dialogue, collaboration, and long-term value creation.
